In short: this website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools and loads nothing from third parties. The fonts are served from my own server. Personal data only appears in the technically necessary server logs and when you write to me.

Hosting and server logs

The website runs on a server in a data centre of Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. On every request the web server automatically stores: IP address, date and time, requested page, amount of data transferred, referrer, browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably and to detect attacks (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The logs are deleted after five weeks at the latest and are not combined with other data.

Contact by email

If you email me, I process your details to answer your message (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, for business enquiries (b)). I delete them as soon as they are no longer needed for that purpose and no statutory retention periods apply.

Encryption

The website is only delivered over an encrypted connection (TLS).

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). Just write to the address above.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
